I saw Dr. Cione for an abdominal hernia repair. He is personable and explained what to expect during and after surgery very clearly. He was recommended to me by a friend who had a similar surgery done by him & I would recommend him as well.
I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Cione and his staff.
I just had a second procedure performed by Dr. Cione in 5 years. My experience this time was even better than the first. I am guessing with experience comes perfection. I don't typically fill out these reviews but Dr. Cione warrants high praise for his professionalism and patient care. I have recommended Dr. Cione in the past to my wife as well as extended family members who have all had great results.
Dr. Cione is very proficient, easy to deal with, and a great surgeon.
Dr. Cione is a very friendly people-oriented doctor. It is obvious he cares about his patients. He was thorough in explaining my options prior to scheduling surgery and was helpful in explaining particulars of the surgery to both my husband and me on the day of surgery. Dr. Cione prayed with me prior to my surgery and his demeanor was calming. The surgery went well and within weeks I was cleared for normal activities and had much more energy than I had prior to surgery.
Anger, pain and guilt is what I have to live with everyday. My gp recommended me Dr Cione for my hernia repair. He advised rather kind of promoted going for laparoscopic hernia repair for inguinal hernia, which was very small and didn't quite bother me much. I trusted the doctor and now I am in so much pain months after surgery. I wish I didn't had that surgery at all or at least went to see other doctors. Please be wise when you go for surgery.
I would never recommend to anyone, had an inguinal hernia repair in Nov-2016 and I am still in pain after 6 months. I wish I had chosen another surgeon, he won't even talk to you in follow up visit and kept saying it will get better. I regret going to Dr Cione, I really don't know what to do now, he left me in bad shape.
Dr. Cione did an amazing job with my surgery. I had a ventral hernia repair and eased my mind so much. He prayed for me before my surgery and he himself called my wife when I was out of surgery to let her know that everything went well. I highly recommend him to anyone.
From the moment I met him, Dr. Cione put me at ease about my condition. He is friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, skilled and willing to take the time to answer my millions of questions. My gallbladder surgery was scheduled quickly and performed with no complications. His office staff made the whole scheduling and insurance approval process worry free. I highly recommend him!
