Dr. Cione’s surgery went very well. I had a textbook recovery. When I returned to work one week after inguinal hernia surgery, I felt better standing for 9.5 hours than before the surgery. He communicated very well what the recovery would be like and what to do.
Dr. Cione is an outstanding Surgeon and Doctor overall! He is also very personable and caring with an excellent bedside manner! I had an excellent and rapid recovery from my hernia repair surgery, and I highly recommend Dr. Cione for any of your general surgery needs!

Great doctor! I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends. He was willing to schedule my surgery at another hospital that he normally does not go to, so the cost would be less for me.

I had a hernia repaired by Dr Cione last month and he and his staff were great! i would highly recommend Dr Cione. I was referred to him from another one of my doctors that had his hernia repaired. What better referral than a Doctor that had work done by another Doctor? The procedure was done by robotics and my healing time was very quick. I was feeling great by the end of the first week. It has been three weeks now and I am completely back to a normal functioning day.
I got an appointment within a week. Dr. Cione reviewed my tests, labs and other records. He recommended removing my gall bladder. He wrote the pre op lab orders during my visit so that I could get them done on site the same day. He and his team gave good instructions both written and verbal before the operation. The entire team that cared for me was awesome! If I need a surgeon again I will call him! I cannot think of anything they could have done better. Fantastic Care that included prayer
I recently had emergency surgery with Dr. Cione. We did our research and found outstanding reviews. I agree. He was great. He spent time explaining what he was going to do and did it. He also spent time after surgery checking in with me to make sure I was healing well. He has a great bedside manner. I found him to be an outstanding doctor and would highly recommend him to anyone.
I am a retired PA so I choose doctors very specifically for outcomes. Although I like nice people, frequently it is not the nice guy who is a great surgeon. I want only a gifted surgeon inside my or my loved one's bodies. Dr. Cione is the epitome of a gifted surgeon who is also a really nice guy. Like, my husband and I want to take him out for dinner nice guy. I went home day of surgery, listened to my body about activity, took 2 pain pills in the first 24 hours and none needed after that.
