Dr. Cione removed my gallbladder robotically 4 weeks ago in an out-patient procedure. I feel "fantastic!" All the symptoms I experienced prior to surgery have disappeared: lower back pain, bloating, nausea and fatigue. He had cautioned me that all my symptoms might not be related to my gallbladder issues, I do have arthritis. He and his staff were very kind & professional & answered all my questions & concerns. I am grateful to have been in have been in his care. I am a 74 year old female.
Dr. Cione is a knowledgeable and skilled robotic surgeon. He answers all your questions and never talks down to you. Unlike many surgeons, he does not think he is a god when he puts on a white lab coat (he doesn't even wear a white coat). He is personable, caring, and communicates very well.
Dr. Cione is wonderful. I had minimal pain after major abdominal surgery and recovered beautiful. I'd been ignored regarding my symptoms previously!! Dr. Cione resolved my issues quickly. I feel so much better. His prayer just before surgery helped me in addition to his skills! I was calm and confident in him. Very pleasant and helpful staff, as well!!!
My college age daughter was a patient of Dr. Cione over the winter break. She was able to meet with Dr. Cione, have testing and gallbladder removal within a very tight time frame. Dr. Cione explained the meaning of symptoms, procedures and expected results. We felt comfortable in every conversation and he answered our questions fully. The surgery went very smoothly and she has recovered well. So very glad that her GP suggested Dr. Cione! Additionally, the office was accommodating.
Dr. Cione is a very attentive and compassionate doctor. He listens well, and thoroughly explains. He removed part of my colon that was diseased, paying attention to not remove more than necessary that would give me adverse, lasting results. I have nothing but the highest praise for him and his skills.
I currently manage a medical practice and have managed surgical practices previously. I've also been in contact and currently work with a number of surgeons in the area, but until now I've never been a patient. Dr. Cione is someone who I would recommend without hesitation to family, friends and other physicians. He's technically proficient in his skill-set, he's also caring and compassionate. If I were to ever need services in this specialty, this is the first physician to consider.
Dr. Cione is a great surgeon and a great Doctor my experience with having to have my gallbladder removed has been a great one I would recommend him to anyone he is an excellent doctor
I recently had my gullbladder removed by Dr. Cione and was extremely happy ever step of the way. From our first consultation to post op visit he was friendly and caring. We never felt rushed or just a number. If the need arises we would definitely see him again.
Dr. Cione has been my choice for surgery on three occasions in the past ten years. Very professional. Takes the time to explain what is going to happen before surgery and what to expect after surgery. Very capable surgeon.
