I had a complicated hip replacement that required extensive hardware that had been in place for 23 years. Dr. Knesek was recommended as a joint specialist from another orthopedic surgeon. After surgery my legs are finally same length and properly aligned. Dr. Knesek, his PA Collin and the rest of the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Knesek.
I was referred to Dr. Knesek for a revision of a total knee replacement. I obtained an appointment with a minimal wait time. He took extra precautions because I had a post operative infection on 2 previous knee replacements. Dr. Knesek explained everything and answered all mine and my husband’s questions. My pain was very well controlled after surgery and throughout recovery. Dr. Knesek and his staff answered calls quickly post op when I had a concerns. Office staff friendly and professional
Just had my knee replaced after Dr. Knesek put it in crooked he then packed it with more cement to compensate. My knee was tremendously unstable and every time I went there I would get new exrays and he would tell me nothing was wrong. I went to 3 other surgeons that all agreed it was in crooked. Outstanding support staff but him personally was very poor. I was in tremendous pain and he did nothing but inject me. No follow up phone calls to see how I was doing. Would NOT recommend him.
Had hip surgery 9/2018. My recovery had been quick. At 6 weeks 90% mobility back. I Expect 100% at 3 months. My physical therapist says Dr Knesek did a great job He is caring and asks for questions and answers same. His staff is equally as caring the PA, Dr Moore and Pre Op surgical staff Will definitely return if other orthopedic surgery required in the future
I am so happy I found Dr K and he did my surgery . My life has changed so much since I got my right hip replaced . I feel like me again . I am so appreciative for all he did for me .
Had one appointment. Impossible to get another one. Doc and PA were great. Office staff is the problem and a huge one.
I had swelling/pain around my kneecap and stiffness above and below my knee for a couple of months before I finally made an appointment... which I did solely based on Dr. Knesek's previous reviews. I'm so glad I did! After my x-ray, Dr. Knesek took his time to explain the image on the screen, and after examining my knee, he gave his diagnosis and how he was going to treat it...which he began immediately. He was very thorough and patient.. and wanted to make sure I was comfortable. Great Doc!
Dr. Knesek was recommended by two physicians, one from DMC, one from Hurley. He is professionally competent and an excellent communicator, taking time to address your concerns. His PA, colleagues , and staff in both locations all made me feel well cared for. With a total hip arthroplasty behind me he will be my first choice for orthopedic needs in the future.
