I liked him very much , talks to you in a way that you can understand.
My Wife had a reverse shoulder replacement. Dr. Hines and the team at OSS were very thorough and Dr. Hines took the time to answer all questions. At one visit, we were accompanied by the Physical Therapist and the Dr. welcomed her questions and concerns that we were all at ease. All of the staff at OSS have been courteous and helpful. The Nursing staff were exceptional.
This was my second procedure performed by Dr. Hines. He is both an exceptionally skilled surgeon and a personable physician who genuinely cares about his patients. He is the only surgeon who will work on my shoulders.

Dr Hines was very down to earth and took time to go over what to expect regarding the surgery , recovery and rehab . He is very approachable
Very short visit (~5 min) for having had a serious orthopedic issue for 2 years and not able to get care till now due to no insurance. Honest that he didn't know what was going on w my leg (no one else does either), advised which doctor to follow up with for foot and who wouldn't be helpful. Affirmed referral to neuro, prescribed meds that made sense, affirmed referral to PT, moved up my appointment to follow up.
Dr. Hines asked questions and listened to my concerns. He explained what was going on and next steps so I understood, without being condescending. Refreshing.
Dr. Hines was friendly and understanding. He was clear about the risks of surgery and about recovery. He was open in saying that if recommendations for after surgery werent followed, I would not heal the way I would expect.
