Hands down one of the best days out we have ever had. We visited over the Easter holidays with our 8 year old and 6 year old. The place was easy to find, parking was easy and it wasn't that busy when we went. The bugs were all really cool! We paid extra for a bug handling experience and met Bob. The kids loved the bug zoo and the meadow walk was delightful. My husband and I LOVED the food in the cafe, you could tell it was made by a professional chef. The staff were all sweethearts. Fantastic place to visit, with really friendly and knowledgable staff. I went with my mum and two kids. The bug show is particularly good, you can handle (if you want to) a cockroach and stick insect, and hear lots of interesting facts about them. The restaurant has quite a varied menu with options featuring insects!

We had this marked as a POI on our road trip map. Conveniently this is located very close to our Premier Inn we stayed at. From the outside it doesn't look very big but rest assured there is lots to see and do. If we had visited a few months prior when the meadows were flowering you could easily spend most of the day here. We would highly recommend the meet the insects for the small extra fee.
