Should have allowed a bit more time! There was a lot more to this than we expected and had a really good time and also loads of interesting info. Small but packed! Still slightly "neophobic" about eating bugs but currently enjoying the cricket Cookies. Fantastically fun day out. Both our kids thoroughly enjoyed it. We had a great time holding massive stick insects and hearing all about them from the resident experts. Highly recommend spending the little bit extra for the bug holding experience. Will definitely come again next time we are in the area.
We visited today with our 2 children (under 10years old). There's lots of facts to read and some great learning areas, the bug farm area was really cool to see different bugs up close and I will see cockroaches in a different light! We did the bug handling session and the 2 women doing the demo took time to explain things to the group and each table, they clearly have knowledge and passion!
