Dr. Grimm and his staff were great to work with. I injured my back playing hockey in November of 2022 and experienced severe pain in my hip and leg, numbness around my shin, and pain in my foot. I was unable to find a sitting or lying position that eased the pain. Dr. Grimm diagnosed an L4/L5 nerve issue at the initial consultation and confirmed his diagnosis with an MRI. Dr Grimm and his staff are quite simply amazing. For 6 weeks I was unable to walk due to back and leg pain and numbness. I tried everything I could before going to the doctor (advil, aleve, rest, ice, heat, chiropractor treatments, patches and creams) but nothing helped. I saw Dr Grimm and he immediately knew what the problem was. He ordered an MRI of my back which showed I had a herniated disc at L4-5. I went to Dr. Grimm about a month ago after I had been experiencing severe back tightness and inability to walk stably for around 4 weeks. Dr. Grimm said I was fine and encouraged me to just keep moving and I would be okay. I had unbelievable bad pain in my right shoulder and arm. I thought it was a torn rotator cuff. But it turned out the source of the pain was a bulging disk. Dr. Grimm did a fantastic job first understanding my issue and explaining it to me and then performing the Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACDF) surgery to fuse C5-C6-C7.
