Awesome experience. Very honest and don’t try to order more than needed. If I need orthopedic going forward this is my Doctor.
I suffered from a herniated disc at L5-S1 for 8 years. I tried everything to avoid surgery: chiropractor, acupuncture, physical therapy, epidural cortisone spinal injections, etc. It would take a year to heal, then I’d have one year of some relief but I was never pain free. The fourth time I herniated it, I was unable to walk or sit or stand and I went to Dr Grimm because he was close to my home and I was able to get an appointment quickly. Dr Grimm is a knowledgeable and talented physician who developed an appropriate plan of care for my injury. He encouraged questions and did a thorough job explaining interventions and outcomes. He is a very caring physician. I trust him and highly recommend Dr Grimm.
Lately I've been feeling a major distrust for many in the medical field as it seems they are just in it for the cash grab. Dr. Grimm is one of the few doctors that made me feel heard and gave me the sense that he actually wanted to get to the bottom of my issues and solve them.
My second surgery with doctor Grimm, and I feel confident and trust him. We started out with a microdiscectomy hoping this fixed the issue before doing a level 2 fusion. But it didn’t he has up front and is extremely confident and explains everything thoroughly. He is extremely passionate and has empathy. I started crying and he was like are you ok it’ll be fine. One of the finest doctors I’ve ever seen. I couldn’t be happier with my care
Dr. Grimm and his staff were great to work with. I injured my back playing hockey in November of 2022 and experienced severe pain in my hip and leg, numbness around my shin, and pain in my foot. I was unable to find a sitting or lying position that eased the pain. Dr. Grimm diagnosed an L4/L5 nerve issue at the initial consultation and confirmed his diagnosis with an MRI.
