I contacted Dr Grimms office due to severe back pain that was debilitating. I could no longer work and could barely walk. Dr Grimm was very thorough and explained every detail of what was wrong and what was needed to correct it. He performed a micro discectomy and in 5 weeks I am back to normal and living my life. I highly recommend Dr Grimm for anyone experiencing back issues. He listens well and shows compassion and is extremely knowledgeable. Thanks so much Dr Grimm!

I went to the Woodstock after hours clinic with lower back pain. Nurse Practitioner Maggie Smith identified my problem and suggested that I go to the ER. A MRI showed a herniated disc was collapsed and blocking the spinal canal which was a medical emergency that needs immediate treatment. Another surgeon referred me to Dr. Grimm. He performed a laminectomy on my lumbar spine. He is hands down the best doctor I have ever seen. He was awesome in every regard, exceptional surgeon. great listener, caring, funny, intelligent, honest. I trulyould not have asked for a better experience or a better doctor.
Dr. Grimm is my go-to for any ortho needs. He is thorough, knowledgeable, and has the heart of a teacher. Beyond medical competency, he sees you as a real person and not just a “patient” to hurry through. I feel seen and heard while receiving great care.
I suffered from a herniated disc and tried everything to avoid surgery. I did physical therapy, saw a chiropractor, tried acupuncture, and even epidural cortisone injections, but it kept getting worse. Dr. Grimm quickly determined the problem and treatment plan. He explained the surgery thoroughly and answered all of my questions. I had immediate relief after surgery and wish I had done it sooner.
Dr. Grimm quickly discerned what the problem was and prescribed treatment. And everyone in his office was cheerful, polite, and helpful.
