I was in an out in less that 24 hours. Andrea was a hoot, And Dr. Tortorella was fast, and painless. I recommend him to everyone!!
I have been going to Dr. Tortorella for a few years now and at my age ( mid 50's) have been treated by a number of dentists over the years. Dr. Tortorella's skills meet or exceed anyone I've ever been to. He, by far, gives the best needles ever and as unpleasant as they can be, I have no fear whatsoever of them when he is administering them. My wife and I started using Dr Tortorella after we retired to the Falls from Ottawa. He is a great dentist.
My one and only visit to Dr. Tortarella was a nightmare! I was a patient of the previous dentist at that clinic. I gave Tortorella a chance and he started drilling a cavity before it was frozen, and when I told him, he diregarded my discomfort and continued with the procedure until it became unbearable. After all that, the filling later fell out and I had to get a root canal, of course at a different office. Until this experience, I had no fear of the dentist... well I do now! I was a patient of Dr. tortorella but unfortunately had to switch when i moved away. I even travelled the 2 hour distance when I broke a filling shortly after moving away. The office staff changed while I was a patient, and i found them to be very friendly,punctual, and quick to get me back in if I had any problems. Our family were patients with the previous practioner and enjoyed his approach to dentistry. Hi replacement (Dr Tortorella) is a skilled doctor who is quickly learning great "bed side" manners. Sometimes you need to adjust to the different personalities before passing judgement.
Great dentist. Up to date methods. Seems very dedicated to doing the best possible job. His staff and hygenist have great personalities. I could fall asleep in the chair.
My family was patients of the previous Dentist that Dr Tortorella took over from. I was never told he took over practice. I showed up for an appointment and was surprised. I went ahead with appointment and it was horrible. Painful, rough, and even more painful when I received the bill. My whole family switched dentists and are now happy.
Dr.Tortorella seems to be very shy, but polite and very smart. He is excellent with children. He is a good dentist he just needs to come out of his shell, and relate more with his patients
