I got treated for my birthday, we had a champagne breakfast. Menu was minimal had to ask if any other options as wasnt really suitable for me. Wanted ages for the waitress to come over, door kept slamming woth the wind and rather then close it they put a bin which blew over. Main food came and it was so dried up and over cooked we left it. Over 20 mins we waited for the food to be taken away and in the end we left. My daughter and son in law got married here yesterday, and i can't falt anything. From start to finish the staff were friendly,helpful and professional. The atmosphere was friendly and homeley, none of us wanted to leave. All the rooms were accessible ( my grandson is in a wheelchair) and comfortable. And the bedrooms were first class and the grounds were beautiful. I thoroughly recommend Dovecliff Hall for that special event or just a visit. Five stars 🌟

Very dissapointing on this occasion. We booked Sunday lunch on the 24th Aug. The main course was poor.The roast potatoes were un eatable and the vegetables were just carrots,beans and peas.We did complain and more potatoes were offered but they were just as bad.A deduction of 10% was given but basically it was it was the service charge.
