Great place to party and excellent hotel
The Doral Arrowwood was never designed for the handicapped. The walk from the front desk to the nearest room was very far away. My wife had to stop and rest before continuing. You can't go down to the restaurant because the ramp is steep and you would need an electric wheelchair to get you back up. Parking is up a hill. I had to rest to catch my breath so that I could continue up to get my car. They charge you an additional 50.00 for incidentals. Awful experience last trip due to amenities not working and rude staff
Great family place for traditional eventS
My husband and I were so disappointed. We stayed there for 2 nights. The first room they gave us, when we opened the door, there were still guests in it. They second one was disgusting, so finally the third was was okay. When we went to shower, they had given us only one wash cloth. Then when they cleaned our room we had no wash cloths. I complained at the front desk and they gave us 2. When I opened the room darkened, the sheer curtains had black, what looked like mold. It used to be such a nice hotel. We had an absolutely horrible experience, from the room not being available for check in, no wash clothes or hand towels in the rooms, the carpeted floor was soaked in areas, the room smelled like mildew, and waking up in a boiling hot room in the middle of the night, even with the thermostat set in the 60s, the heat was blowing on high. To top it off, the sliding door can’t be opened to let some cool air in. The customer service is lacking, at best.
