We had a lovely relaxing long weekend in the Donkey Shed. This beautiful little home is cosy, comfortable, and very well equipped. The fire was lit ready for our arrival which was a lovely touch. Catherine & Hugh were very welcoming and helpful with suggestions of places to go. There are so many stunning places to walk and cycle nearby. One of the highlights for me was the big bath after a long, muddy walk and the fabulous smelling toiletries. We plan to return in the spring. Thanks both x
Beautiful location, almost at the end of a quiet lane and with stunning views of the Welsh and English countryside, looking down on to the River Wye. Great self catering accommodation with open plan lounge and kitchen, main bedroom on upstairs mezzanine and bunk beds for two little ones if you have them. Bathroom with large bath and shower. All you need for a back to nature holiday, plenty of walking to be done right from outside the door.
A wonderful, perfectly appointed place to stay, with very kind and thoughtful hosts, in a beautiful part of the world.
This has to be, hands down, one of the best remote get aways we've managed to stumble across, and we've now returned home feeling relaxed and de-stressed! Tucked away down the narrow lanes of the valley, opening up to an incredible view, you really feel like you're in the heart of nowhere here with a view all to yourself. great place, absolutely beautiful, we enjoyed very much. The owner was very helpful. The wood burning stove is wonderful, feel cozy and happy.
