Dr. Pelto and the whole staff at Central Mass Podiatry, are kind, compassionate and professional. Easy in and out for your appointments, never a long wait. The care is super, with helpful videos and tutorials too! If you have problems with your feet, do yourself a favor and visit them!!
Great Dr. he is very knowledgeable and explains everything in layman‘s terms so you can understand it. He is also always offering you information to research to better understand your condition.
The office staff are courteous and professional, and Dr Pelto is exceptional. His demeanor is calming and reassuring. He is very kind. He noticed I was uneasy before an injection, and used the cold spray to make it more comfortable. He was always clear about what I should expect and the follow-up plan, and he took my preferences into account. I would highly recommend Central Mass Podiatry!
Dr. Pelto is a wonderful physician. If you have toenails that you're insecure about, I vigorously recommend getting Keryflex. The results are amazing - they look TOTALLY natural afterwards. Also, Dr. Pelto doesn't "nickel and dime" you. If he thinks that a procedure is superfluous, then he will let you know and avoid a situation where you spend money unnecessarily.

Dr. Pelto has been treating my foot pain for many years. With his recommendations I have not needed cortisone injections every 3 months. He has taught me that the right shoe is a life savor! I never feel rushed and will always rate him five stars!
Did not have a good experience with my previous doctor. Went to Dr. Pelto for a second opinion. We started over, taking x-rays and took a conservative approach. On my second visit, he listened to my feedback on what I was experiencing. Based on my feedback and the 2nd exam, we changed the plan of treatment. As of the 3rd visit 2 months later, I have definitely made progress, seeing improvement in pain and I found a way to do some things I wanted to do that I had been having problems with when I went to see him. Every thing was very good, from intake to check out. Staff was very courteous and professional, mirrors the Doctors professionalism and decorum.
I came to Dr. Pelto with a stubborn foot injury that would not get better despite my best interventions at home. After several trial and error interventions (i.e REST, boot, elevate, ice, NSAIDs, cortisone, etc) we finally started the "shock therapy" to literally zap my foot back into healing mode. Each weekly session was really uncomfortable from a pain standpoint DURING the procedure but immediately subsided when finished and I felt no pain or discomfort after each treatment. Dr Pelto is a warm, kind, caring physician. He answers questions in detail and never seems to be in a rush. He gives great advice for keeping your feet in good shape and leans toward more conservative approaches rather than surgery. I’ve been very pleased with all my interactions with him.
