A gorgeous retreat in nature and a memorable stay at the Stilt House, Dod Mill! We stayed at the Stilt House at Dod Mill for three nights and had a truly memorable experience. The setting is serene and beautiful – perfect for a peaceful break from city life. The surrounding grounds are vast and ideal for scenic walks, with the added charm of friendly sheep and horses nearby. Had a great short break here--everything was lovely and comfortable and it's a great location to see the Borders. Would stay here again.
We had an amazing time at Dod Mill Old Mill. Beautiful property in beautiful surroundings. We loved sitting in the garden listening to the river and watching the wildlife. Very relaxing. We hope to come back for another visit.
Just back from a 3 night stay at the Stilt House in Dod Mill. Had a great time. Our dog loved having the freedom of fenced off area and also being able to take a dip in the pond & river when he got too warm. It's an incredibly picturesque location with plenty of animals around in the neighbouring areas. You can hear some noise from the main road as stated on the website which we were concerned about before arriving but it does not disturb at all. It's very faint.
