My husband and I were honeymooning in Gettysburg. We were told about the Dobbin house and not to miss it! We sat in the bedroom dining room. The food, atmosphere and our waitress Karen were wonderful! We toured the house earlier and found it very interesting! We will recommend it to anyone!

My wife and I went here today for the first time for our wedding anniversary. I was super impressed with the owner who gave us all a free tour of the property. She is extremely passionate and knowledgeable about the place. Which made us appreciate the place even more. The food and service was fantastic. We will be back again.
I received a gift card for the Dobbin house as wedding gift. 6 years later my husband and I finally used it for our wedding anniversary :-) the place is clean and well-kept. The staff is all very pleasant. I had a crab cake for lunch and coleslaw it was amazing.
My husband and I had waited for long log to eat other then the tavern.....our whole family(older teens usually with us we loved it....good everything) but this time it was me and him . First I want to say the gentle man that answered the phone for our reservations was so kind....and even though we got there before pm 850 pm he treated us so respectfully traffic was unusually bad traffic was that night but we got there with the thunderstorms. This was one of the best dinners my wife and I have ever had, our waitress was great. We were super pleased. If you leave here unhappy, it's you, not the restaurant.
