Love the history of the Dobbin House! Waitress was very good, salad, bread and French onion soup were delicious, the prime rib was decent. The atmosphere is really great, but I would try a different entree next time!

Our evening at Dobbin House was truly one of the highlights of our 4 night stay in Gettysburg. The atmosphere is wonderfully quiet and serene, with superior service and quality offerings. We actually enjoyed the food so much that we returned the following day for crab cakes in the Tavern.

Great history. Food was great, very unique setting. Very busy and very popular. Felt the staff were rushing you to finish. Hard to get your drink refilled.
I've been going to The Dobbin House for years. Today was my 27th birthday and my husband took me out for a nice local dinner instead of taking me to the city mid week. I hate to say it, but I was really bummed I opted to stay local tonight. The food was fantastic as usual.....but our service was a nightmare. We were there over an hour and a half and spent most of the night scanning the room for our server. When it was time to pay our bill we waited another 20 minutes just for her to come and run our card. It was very crowded... read more
