Went for lunch and got there before they opened. I advise doing this as it is very popular. The food and service is amazing! If you can take the tour as well. Best place we ate at in Gettysburg.
If you're looking for a truly historic dining experience, look no further! The Dobbin House server, Sara, made us feel very welcome. The setting is intimate, as we sat in the library with only 3 other tables. The food was AMAZING. Best crab cakes I've had this far north, they rival what you'd find in places Ike Charleston, SC. I'd give them way more than 5 stars if could!!! It's a must to do while in Gettysburg!

Love this restaurant I had the new York strip and it was tough.
Last night was the wife and my first time eating at the Dobbin House. I am a huge fan of the cellar style bar/restaurant. The beef onion soup was awesome. The chicken was just OK. However, the atmosphere makes up for the typical chicken entree. My biggest complaint was the location of our table. We were at the table for 2 which is located immediately as you enter the room at the stairs. Don't ever sit here. Wait for another table.
