Absolutely loved the food and the house is neat. OK to miss the gift shop though

Excellent experience. The food was spectacular, the staff were friendly and historically knowledgable about the house! We had dinner in the main house ordering the prime rib with potatoes and asparagus, Caesar salad and house salad, and a bowl of clam chowder. The bread bowl was freshly baked breads that I could have made a meal on by themselves. Beautiful historic authentic decor, furniture, candlelight and downstairs tavern restaurant. Excellent food, best English onion soup--- better than French onion soup. Excellent service, very accommodating.
We enjoyed our lunch, the service and our bartender, Michael. We had French onion soup which was excellent and a cold roast beef sandwich on rye which was tasty.
Service was excellent an food awesome! No complaints! We were there 2012 an came back last night an sat in the same spot as a family 5 yrs ago! It was nice! Never disappointment here! Excellent pecan pie! �️
Seriously so good!! My husband and I were on our honeymoon in Gettysburg and came to eat at the Dobbin House and it was amazing!! Staff food and drinks were awesome!! Please do yourself a favor and order the apple mimosa!!
good service-ok food-great drinks!!! Always buy the Dobbins hose sweet breads to take home!
