The entire Dittmer family is so kind, and so knowledgeable! Tell them what you lie, they will give you samples and find the perfect mix for you! I am so thankful for locally made, fresh meats and sausages. You guys are wonderful, thank you for making special occasions and lunches something to really look forward to!
These folks are well beyond awesome. Growing up in Wisconsin we had many options for good German butchers, Dittmer's has brought me back! No matter what I want, they have always been helpful. On the few occasions that I didn't know what exactly I was looking for (new recipe I was trying), they educated me and helped me with great pride. So glad that Dittmer's had a new home...just visited their spacious, gleaming new digs to pick up some goodies for new years...things you simply cannot find anywhere else under one roof. Duck? Goose? Venison? Beef suet (for your figgy pudding)? At least a dozen kinds of bacon? Not to mention dozens of amazing, hand crafted smoked and cured meats. This old world favorite continues to deliver, and is truly a local treasure that I hope we never lose!
