Excellent meats and food. Excellent service. I have been coming here for almost 20 years and I have always had the best service. The meat is the best quality. All their sausages are fantastic! The staff is very friendly and helpful. Mark the Butcher (on Facebook as Mark Bubert-Award Winning Butcher) is great! Knowledgeable and has a wonderful sense of humor.
Dittmer's has everything one could want in the way of great German meats, sausages, and wursts. The people there, particularly Mark, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We love Dittmer's and will continue to drive the 35 miles from our home in the City to buy their treasures!
Very few places do meat like this. I M never disappointed. The cheese and broccoli sausage Is a game changer!!Simply the best ! We live in San Francisco and they worth the drive!
The meats are excellent. However, the service is extremely bad. Today about 4:15 three people were milling around the meat counter, laughing and walking back and forth. Two others were helping customers. I was completely and totally ignored for at least five minutes. It was disgraceful. Then when I went to pay, the cashier had disappeared and had to be called up front. Want to keep customers? Try focusing on your customer service. Not sure I will return.
I have been going to Dittmer's for 25 years. Absolutely the best meats in Silicon Valley. We even buy our Christmas Goose there. Good Stuff!
