Went to change out my summer tires with my studded snow tires. A technician came out and inspected both sets. Said my studded tires looked great and were only wore down to a 7. Another technician grabbed the car to put them on. 30 minutes later I was informed that they can not put them on my car because the winter tires are to old but could sell me a new set. I purchased these tires 3 years ago. I asked for my keys and went to a place that would. Customer lost

Have had too many issues with getting the correct tires, weights on aluminum wheels and putting wrong tire size on.

Recommendedthe staff is very knowledgeable and professional i went to discount tire in Altoona and spoke with Bryan a staff member about getting my front passenger tire replaced and he will be in communication with me and he took my information and the new tire will be replaced and fixed soon.
9:15a walked in they put appt time as 12:04p For service There were 7 appt in front of me . Only 2 customers in store - 3 auto in work area with 2 cars in lot. After 1.5 hrs ask if I could leave & come back @12p was told I would lose appt time if I left so I waited I left @11:15a still 6appt in front of me/ there were 8-9 employees working.
As college town you would expect a little bit of compassion when students from out of town come to your store for air. My son went in to day and wanted the tires on the car filled with air. The discount tire attendant said he had a screw in the tire and my son requested just please fill it up. The employee then told him he could not fill it up due to a regulator on the compressor could not fill tires under 14 psi. I said wow just take it to jiffy lube. Jiffy lube took care … See more
