Every summer we, take a day trip up to Portland, from RI, to have lunch at DiMillo's. Yesterday the traffic was very , unbelievably heavy! Usually it's a 2 hr 15 min ride, 21/2 at the most! We almost got off in Ogunquit, because we were starved,,! but we stayed the course& got to Portland around 2! Famished as we were, We went right to the restaurant & were seated immediately! Great service and incredible food. The mussel appetizer was delicious. I had the seafood scampi and my husband had lobster. Both were great.

Its a beautiful view of the port. We had great service and great food. The prices were a little high, but the portions were a good size. The cocktails were made Fantastic. It was alittle windy upstairs for dinner but the food and view made it worth it. Great Bloody Mary's .
My husband and I are in Portland for the first time. We had two people tell us we had to go to DiMillo's and it was worth it! We both enjoyed our food and our waitress was amazing. Hopefully we will be back to Portland and DiMillo's On The Water.
