The DiMillo family has been serving fine food in Portland since Tony DiMillo opened his first restaurant, "Anthony's," in 1954. In 1982, "DiMillo's Floating Restaurant" opened her doors and became the only floating restaurant on the upper East Coast. Today, Tony's family continue to maintain the high standards he established over 50 years ago.

This was my third time visiting DiMillo's, our dinners were great as usual. I had the broiled seafood combo with double vegetable. The clam plate, small but amazing. 9 oz steak and potato, I don't think there was anything left. And the Seafood scampi looked amazing...again not a drop left. So four different entrees and all were fantastic. Not to mention the calamari appetizer......the service was also great!!! Love visiting DiMillo's On the Water.....

Great bartender, service, owner was right there and was great, good food, amazing views!!!
We waited way tooo long for adequate food. It wasn't that busy our server apologized once for the wait but no explanation offered. It was awful. I will not be back
For 9 people, @1:30p we had a 1hr wait, 1hr from seated until served, otherwise the food was good. I'd suggest DiMillos mix the pasta in with the alfredo rather than on top. Water in the bottom of the plate. Nice atmosphere, view of the boats etc.
I was extremely excited to have lunch yesterday at my favorite Maine restaurant only to be so disappointed with the food and especially the service. We had a large group with several infants. Two of our babies were screeching and laughing at each having fun as we waited. Our male server asked if they were ok or if something was wrong to which I replied no they are happy which is nice as they are so hungry and have waited for 45 minutes already. Wonderful service, view, food! Highly recommend dining on the upper outside deck. The Lobster and fresh haddock was amazing!
Wonderful unique atmosphere! Friendly service! Delicious fresh seafood! I will highly recommend this place to anyone for food, relaxing atmosphere and friendly caring service. It was our first time trying steamers and Jessica, our waitress, showed and explained to us how to handle those delicious ocean creatures :)
I ordered lobster stew, and Angus sirloin, med rare.....The stew was outstanding, with generous amounts of fresh lobster.....(I am a Mainer, and I know the difference)....The steak was cooked perfectly to order, and was delicious! My table mates ordered the lobster stew, and fresh tuna......I had a chance to taste the tuna, and it too was delicious. Our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and took great care of us! It was a fun experience, and I can't wait to go back......
