Excellent Had a wonderful experience at the main campus
Hospital staff were great! Even got a hand written get well card in the mail today! From the outpatient surgery staff. Thank you Gail RN! for taking the extra time.
Worst billing department ever. FINALLY bills me for services 7 months later...wanted over $1000 in 30 days. That was even after they admitted they had not sent bills out for "several months" due to their internal issue. What kind of business can have such a terrible accounting problem and expect me to pay that kind of money in 30 days!!! I would hate to see their health care delivery. Let's pray I never have to use them!!

I want to thank the nurses at Blank Childrens ER who cared for my daughter this evening. You ladies went above and beyond to make sure she felt comfortable. One nurse even sang the star spangled banner and danced!!! You know who you are and God bless you!

Had to change doctors, and my UP doc changed almost all meds. He doesn't have a clue as to problems associated with aging. In a perfect world, I wouldn't need meds or a doctor. Even though I'm having lots of problems, I refuse to go back. Will someone PLEASE refer a doctor that actually cares. This doctor makes sure I know how many patients he has. Like I'm just a number....really?

Evidently, a new account is opened EVERY time a patient visits the doctor. I officially have seven different online bill pay contacts for UnityPoint! I called to request all accounts be consolidated into one but it's pointless because they are all at $0 balance and a new account will be opened the next time I go to the doctor. Let's shoot for 100 accounts to clog up my online bill pay! #ridiculous #getittogetherUnityPoint
As hospitals go, Iowa Methodist Hospital by far one of the better hospital. All nursing staff are wonderful. I will recommend this hospital to everyone that I know.
This hospital is the most deceiving place ever. We had a scheduled surgery 2 weeks ago and have been waiting 3 hours just for my mother to get a room. Then someone comes and tells us she's been in her room for hours. We get up there and have to wait another 20 min just for her to get transported. Why does it take 3 hours just to clean a room? The staff is not caring what so ever. We've been redirected multiple times for no reason. I would not suggest this hospital for any medical reasons.
