Walked into hospital not knowing where to go for a small cyst, during non emergency hours. Information directed me to a room. I didn't know my bill would be $2500. Wish someone would have told me about a clinic. I am new to Des Moines and my clinic was in the hospital unlike this hospital. Beyond horrible and they took advantage of me not knowing better.
This is the worst hospital around. Channel 8,5 and 13 should come check it out. I would not bring my dog to this hospital. it's not even worth this star. But it does not have a minus on it.
Worst ER every... i went in last weekend with bad ankle pain. Your treatment... Just ice it. You didnt want to do an xray but i requested it. Your people couldn't find anything wrong... after a few more days of getting worse i went to a REAL hospital. I HAD A BROKEN ANKLE!! Maybe you should do a real exam before just guessing and sending patients on their way...
Don't go here if you need immediate medical attention...you will most likely expire while you wait! Not only did we spend over 7 hours in the ER, we never got to see a doctor. We were seen by 2 different PAs that asked the same questions and gave different answers! Also, the ER is dirty and rundown...it will be our last visit here.
With the new Million Dollar Electronic Device (Tablet handed to you once you walk into the office) you can now overcharge the American People even more! Yippee!!! BEWARE: Extremely Rude Receptionist found at the Radiation Oncology Department.
If I could give negative stars, I would. Nothing about our experience here has been good. Lies, lies, and more lies!
Methodist hospital cancer floor was amazing with my dad. Unity point hospice. Not so much. Worst care and service by far. Switched to different hospice and had much better care until my dad passed.

Have two children with Cystic Fibrosis that went to the clinic at Blank. We're told today to take them someplace else cause we can't afford a medicine they RECCOMMEND and life has be so hectic with me losing my job we didn't get right on paperwork they gave us to get the medicine.
