I appreciate the strong personal relationships I share with the professional staff of the Denver Area Council. From the bottom up or the top down I know I am respected as a volunteer member - even when I am 'rocking the boat' and I value the friendships I have with so many of the staff. Having been involved with our two boys as they went through the ranks and became Eagle Scouts, I’ve been privileged to get to know many professionals and volunteers in this council. The Scouting program has allowed me to also know many adult volunteers in other councils across the country. I can wholeheartedly say this is one of the finest councils in the nation. Their heart is in the right place: teaching young people to make moral and ethical decisions by instilling in them the values of the Scout oath and law.
The staff and volunteers are truly devoted to the enrichment and education of every child in the program. Would definitely recommend to families anywhere in the area!
Scouting is one of the few places where our youth get to learn timeless values and leadership skills. I am proud of the great work we do and I stand by our Scouts.

The volunteers at the Denver Area Council are excellent to work with. They give their heart and soul to the program to ensure that all of our local youth have the opportunity to receive the benefits of the Scouting program.
