Lovely welcome. Chalet clean . A bit tired. But all good. Nice and quiet
Having read the reviews about the accommodation here I was worried about what I would be getting. The accommodation was clean, without mould and broken items (as some others have stated) . It served as a fantastic base in which to explore the Scottish Highlands. The grounds of the accommodation were lovely and we really enjoyed exploring the area. Second time I've stayed here and I would definitely return. Booked through Hoseasons. The location is peaceful and close enough to the A9 to easily reach most places of interest. The accomodation is basic but has everything you need. Bring your own towels or hire them from reception. If you're expecting high end accomodation this might not be the place for you. If you like walking and exploring you won't be disappointed. Nearby supermarkets are Morrisons and Lidl in Alness.
Stayed here for the 2nd time in the big house for work, owners as usual always nice & friendly martyn & his wife, 4 bed big house for us tidy clean spotless as expected, power shower fridge kettle etc as expected, heating was good comfy beds aswell. Nice little waterfalls at side of chalet aswell.. Old Dutch barn for food was nice too burgers steaks whole shooting match, 10/10 just wish he'd change the beer & ale from Tetley and carlsberg to perhaps Madre & budweiser or something 😂🙄 Apart from that as usual I'd return agai... read more
