This review is in regards to Dean Close, and not the individual swim schools, clubs and classes. Unreliable, disappointing, consistent underperformance. Pool booked successfully but let down three times in four weeks with the facility not being staffed and open. This is a complete waste of time for parents planning their busy weekends, trying to do the best for their young athletes. The repeated failures on the part of Dean Close are intolerable.

Session booked but for some reason booking systems don’t talk to each other! Really poor set up.

My child is attending the swimming lessons at the school during key stage one. The swimming teachers are very competent, and my child is excited every time his lessons are approaching. I can see progress in his confidence in the water, and we are only two lessons in! It has exceeded my expectations.

Really bad experience trying to get my child signed up for swimming lessons here. Inquired and filled in the online form twice, and on both occasions received an automated response stating someone would be in contact within two days. Never heard a thing. Months later received a general email to multiple recipients offering lessons for stage 2 (even though it’s unclear what ability my child would be assessed at). Replied within 50 minutes and again never heard any response. Incredibly disappointing.
