Despite the reason for my admission, I met some extremely compassionate,caring and talented nurses and PCA’s. They were attentive to my every need.

We really like Northport DCH, it has a wonderful staff. They look out for and treat you more like family and/or friends.

Nightmare all the way, lack of communication, unprofessional staff. Left hand doesn’t know what right hand is doing. Lack of communication with doctors. We don’t feel that the patient is well taken care off. Gets the wrong food provided continuously. If I would have the money I would get an attorney 😡😡😡😡

Dr. Charles David Hill - ER physician is a joke! Not only did he insult me for coming to the ER for an allergic drug reaction but he sent me home without a resolution. I took Benadryl two hours prior to going to the ER without resolution of my symptoms. In fact, after 2 hours of taking the Benadryl, my lips, tongue and face went numb. Worried about further decompensation I presented to Fayette DCH ER. I presented at 7:21pm. I was admitted and taken to room 2 within 10 minutes of my arrival. The Dr. was foreign and I could barely understand what he was saying. He also would not allow me to speak and walked out of the room while I was trying to tell him about my previous bladder surgeries. He acted as if I wasn’t an important case and acted as if he didn’t care about my treatment. Nurses on the other hand were great. I was highly upset with this Dr. horrible bedside manner and didn’t seem to care about me as a patient! I was seen between 6-8 pm so I’m sure the dr name is on file!
