I would not recommend going to the ER unless you really have to I was hurting real bad in my side my doctor thought it was my appendix so I left my home about 9:45 in the am they called me back about 4 hours later stuck a IV in my arm I thought I was gonna see a doctor but they sent me back out in the waiting room in between time waiting to be called back several was going a head of me not no we’re near the pain I was in and come in after me some was leaving they were mad I couldn’t because I had a Iv in my arm well 4 hours ... read more

My sons was transported by ambulance after a automobile accident to DCH. It took them 3 1/2 hours to provide pain medication. It was only provided after my son became upset after repeated request. Repeated requests for water were ignored. My wife went to the car and got water we had. They NEVER provided any water. Nurse that received repeated requests was stacking boxes verses taking care of patients. Care was delayed or not provided, and customer service was lacking. Never saw a doctor. My stay here was great, I don’t believe no other hospital n the country could’ve cared or treated me any better that DCH did. I feel we are very fortunate to have this hospital here in our area. Food was good too.

DCH REALLY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HOW THEY RUN THINGS. Nobody should be spending 10 hours in a waiting room: WAITING ROOM: meaning you have not been seen at all. People screaming in pain, this lady arm look like it’s bout to fall off they got her in a sling and she bleeding. A girl clearly is suffering from appendicitis and is red and throwing up violently( I can hear her whole conversation HIPAA OBVIOUSLY DOESNT MATTER HERE)these helfas(nurses, check in staff) sitting up here cackling without a concern in the world. The Dr and nurses who treated me last night even though the ER was packed, Everyone was very nice and supportive. They kept apologizing for any and everything. Those people are tru e hero’s. God bless them.
