Excellent. Had total knee replacement. He explained everything well, listened to all my concerns, rescheduled my surgery due to other medical problems. I would recommend him to anyone for care. I never had to wait, when I was there a little early they took me in right away.
Total hip replacement. My experience WITH Dr. Kaufman and his staff was a very positive experience. The lead up, the actual procedure and the post-op recovery til now has been an excellent experience. I feel I can trust Dr. KAUFMAN and his team, hey earned that trust with flying colors.
Dr. Kaufman performed both anterior hip surgeries strategically 8 weeks apart here on Maui and each with surgical precision. I experienced zero complications and minimal scarring and pain. I attribute much of my accelerated recovery to the quality of his care from pre-op to post-op with the able assistance of his nurse Melissa. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a hip replacement, dispelling the myth that one needs to go to Oahu to have a proper hip replacement done. Mahalo Dr. Kaufman!
He discussed with me of my options and he recommended what would be best for me and he assured me it would make some of my pain lesser. My knee replacement is a succes .
Dr. Kauffman is the best very straightforward answers all your questions. Surgery went great. Did one hip replacement surgery about nine years ago. They went in from the side and it took me a long time to recover. They go in from the front now and I was up and going in less than seven weeks. I would definitely recommend him.
Great. As far as I can tell he did excellent job replacing my left hip. Would certainly use him again and/or highly recommend to a friend. Procedure was fast and my recovery was quite fast.
My surgery was a complete success. Couldn't be Happier with the results. Dr Kaufman is the Best.
A+ Experience with Dr. Kaufman and his team. Both knees needed replacement and Dr. Kaufman answered all of my questions, I never felt rushed, and I received the most excellent care. Dr. Kaufman not only is an excellent surgeon, but has an excellent bed side manner. Surgery is scary, but not with Dr. Kaufman and his team - thanks again!
Dr. Kaufman came to my rescue when I found out I needed hip replacement with not just one but both of my hips. When I saw him on my first visit and he looked at my X-rays, he told me that I was a candidate for a hip replacement. I have already made up my mind to have it anyways, but he made me feel comfortable and reassured me that all will be better after the surgery. He was right!
