I had a total knee replacement with Dr. Kaufman as my surgeon. I could not be happier with the results. He is a true professional who exudes confidence and knowledge. From the beginning he communicated all pertinent information. I felt fully informed and there were no surprises. His surgical skills are superior. My scar attests to his precise surgical intrusion. After three weeks I am almost completely healed and haven't needed a walker since the first day. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Kaufman!
Dr. Kaufman and his staff are GREAT, including the physical therapists! My surgery went well with absolutely no problems. Dr. Kaufman took his time to explain the surgery in a simple to understand dialogue during a pre-surgery appt. a few days before the procedure. Dr. David Kaufman performed TKR 6 months ago on my right knee and 3 weeks ago on my left knee. The entire time Dr. Kaufman was very personable and professional. He actively listened and focused on the best treatment and quality outcome. He provided individual attention to details, safety, and pain management. Dr. Kaufman has excellent communication skills. Dr, Kaufman was especially diligent in my care. I had two hip replacements and I am so pleased. Doctor Kaufman was cautious about infection and my initial health so that I would have the best outcome. Even the nurses at the hospital stated that if they were to pick a surgeon for their treatment, they would pick Doctor Kaufman! From our first pre-op meeting, and through out the post-op follow up, Dr. Kaufman was patient and informative. I never felt rushed or disregarded in any way. Dr. Kaufman performed a total knee replacement surgery on me approximately two months ago. The surgery went well, and I am recovering quickly with no complications thus far. Prior to surgery, he ensured I was well informed as to the recovery process, including covering topics such as pain management, physical therapy, etc. In addition, he is very personable, and I felt comfortable sharing my concerns with him. Highly recommend this surgeon for knee replacement surgery.
