Dr. Davenport is the only doctor I have found that actually listens to me. I have seen many doctors and received many diagnoses. First time being on medication that is actually beneficial.
Dr Davenport has been so supportive to my elderly mother and myself as well In dealing with her!! He is very patient and caring with her at every visit. When I need to discuss something with him between visits we email each other at any time. He responds within a short time! AWESOME!!!
Dr. Davenport is very qualified in his line of work and he is the only phychiatrist I know of in the area that specializes in treatment for the elderly.
Dr Davenport is an excellent Psychiatrist and I highly recommend him if you are seeking an ethical and caring physician. I have seen Dr Davenport for several years and found him to be consistent, responsive and informative in the the management of my mental health.
He is the best.
I chose Dr. Davenport by chance out of my insurance book of providers. I couldn't have made a better choice. He is by far the best Psychiatrist I have ever had. I've had several retire & moved twice, so I've been through a few. He's caring & definitely knows his stuff. He can tell you things before you even realize it. He's an amazing doctor. I am so thankful for him. I've never hesitated to recommend him to others. He's no longer a provider with my insurance, but he's worth seeing anyway!!!
Dr. Davenport is extremely knowledgeable and balances that with compassion and heartfelt concern. He goes above and beyond to make sure needs are being met and takes the time to understand not only the patient's illness but environmental factors that will also impact patient health and well-being.
Dr. Davenport is well-known and respected in the Polk County community as a psychiatrist treating disorders in both adult and geriatric patients. He incorporates both physical wellness as well as mental health issues into his treatment plans. Dr. Davenport has a thorough knowledge of medications for mental illnesses and their best use.
On the first phone call he was not interested in listening only in what he wanted to say.He thought there was an insurance problem so I called after hours thinking I was leaving a message that we would pay cash. He either didn't listen or it triggered an emergency pager and he called me yelling at me I guess you call all of your doctors after hours, etc.He wasn't interested in the truth or an apology. I have never been so rudely or disrespectfully treated by a professional.
