RecommendedReasonably clean but very tired AIRPORT, It need updating.. The assistance were almost prompt. It was roomy and air conditioned...but shame about the woman at check in who asked my husband to open his baggage to take a lb weight of it bec. hes 1 lb. over weight. If it was a kilo its understandable. Whats the point? they all goes to same weight in the plane! duh! Absolutely the WORST airport I have ever been too. The officers are so rude and their directions are so poor. The TSA broke the lock on my suitcase and my luggage had to travel all the way from Hawaii to Portland without a lock. When I got home, I found out that my favorite blue dress was not in the suitcase. I am absolutely shocked. I have travelled to so many places around the world and have never experienced such a thing. Directional signs could be better , needs updating but if you want to go to Oahu you have to go through this airport. All staff that I have countered have much Aloha!
The terminal is a disgrace for this tourist. Airport the check in machines barely work and no place to put your bags while checking in Poor direction to the gates on the upper level Should go to Singapore the terminal is amazing with full help and directions and even a booth for cell phone charging Just an amazing terminal
Everything about Honolulu was beautiful except the outdated airport and ridiculous prices. The bathrooms were filthy, and the terminal directions were not clear.
Open airport is beautiful!
This is the only airport that is convenient to fly into Honolulu and then you can reach Waikiki beach.
It was not easy to find directions to domestic airport .... this experience caused my partner and I to break up with Kaos
