We went to the 1st class lounge & almost missed our flight. It boarded early & no announcements were made at all.
It’s has southwest, they get Honolulu fast. It takes 30 minutes. Yes 10 out of 10 stars
One security checkpoint open on a Sunday afternoon in the mainland terminal? Really? What genius made that decision? No more priority/gold security lane and the line was an hour long in the 85-90 degree heat and humidity. Miserable. Barely made it in time to my gate only to sit in the 105 degree jetway for another 20 minutes with no circulation or fans. Elderly and infants beware. It was hotter than a hot yoga class. Where are we, a third world airport? Honolulu airport administration, please step up your game. This is pathe... read more
Needs to be brought into the 21st century, looks like it’s never been renovated since it was built and with all the modern technology why are people still made to take their shoes off at security gates and queue for hours in security - surely they can afford to upgrade and make things a bit quicker. Takes all of 2 mins to go through security in Sydney on departure but takes about an hour to do so at HNL.
excellent service and no excuses inviornment
Convenient and friendly! Love to land here.
Holy incompetence in the TSA part of the airport. Get here early and bring your zen meds—you’re sure to get riled up.
A month ago we had a tragic plane accident at Dillingham (Kawaihapai) airfield where I have my business. The State's LEO arrived at the scene of the burning wreckage without a fire extinguisher. Dillingham Airfield saw the need for a fire truck, but the State refused to fund a person trained to use it, now apparently there isn't even a fire extinguisher available. Operating an airport requires foresight and planning for emergencies. It's time for Martinez Jacobs to step down as Airports Fire Chief.
No standard in prices exist. It's only about money. it is embarrassing to see a corrupt airport with the name of a Medal of Honor hero. The corruption is big here.
