We have been in dozens (literally) of hotels in the Chicago area. The Dana has absolutely nothing special about it. It's a nice, clean hotel with a great location, like many. You would think that in order to keep their clientele and make them want to come they would treat people with the minimum respect and courtesy you would to stand ahead of the competition... stayed at the hotel over Super Bowl weekend with my daughter for our first trip to Chicago. The hotel is really great and the rooms very nice, like the hardwood floors -- front desk staff and concierge were very helpful with recommendations on places to go, restaurants, getting around. Check out the Pops Champagne bar few blocks from the hotel and there is a nice piano bar within walking distance. Good breakfast in the restaurant - service was very good. going back to the City in March and booked here again.
