I needed to delete my previous recommendation and let it be known - do not sign at Dakota Ranch apartments. I am embarrassed to have recommended this complex to so many in the past. After being a resident for 5 years, I can provide first hand experience about the decline in management and overall property experience and appearance. The rate to live at Dakota Ranch is far too high for the poor quality living experienced by the majority of residents. Also, we apologize for the delay in unit walks and closure of our indoor amenities. Due to the recent spike in COVID19 cases in our area, we had to delay the reopening of our office and indoor amenities in order to protect our residents and staff. Not at all what they advertise and promised . I will not recommend.
Management could actually take maintenance requests seriously, that would be nice.
My recommendation may change, but a lot of things need to happen. The tour we took last March was awesome. Then the move in came. I have never seen a more disgusting apartment. Management said it had been cleaned, but there is NO WAY it had. Dog hair everywhere, rips in couch and chair, dog chewed up window seal and tv stand, stains in toilets, holes in walls, dryer didn’t work, needs to be painted, doors to washroom were broke, no doors on one of the bedroom closets, water standing in the dishwasher and cobwebs on ceilings.... read more
Today was move in day for my boyfriend, got the keys, got to the apartment. As soon as we opened the door there was still couches, beds, paint on the floor, the 2nd bedroom bathroom was flooded, there were holes in the floor, someone was drying clothes in the dryer, AC was out, and we were told to get out because the painting guy had to finish. Good apartment complex. Safe, okay amenities, quiet, and nice to simply be around and enjoy the serenity and beauty of the Hill Country. Only bad thing is that rent is high and apartments are kind of small.
After being here for almost one year I gotta say Dakota Ranch is pretty awesome. I was not to happy at first but they fixed issues I was not happy with and ended up being very attentive when something went wrong in my roommates and my apartment. They have been so helpful and it’s been such a great experience in the long run so great we decided to sign our lease for another year! We look forward to another year living at Dakota Ranch! Thank you !
