The Daffodil is a lovely place with a nice range of drinks at the bar, and we visited while staying nearby in the shepherd’s hut. Unfortunately, our experience dining there was disappointing. On the Friday we sat for drinks but felt rushed into ordering before we’d even settled at our 7pm table. My husband ordered a burger, which shockingly had a black hair inside. Brilliant Sunday roast
Excellent service, kind and caring staff. Came here with my elderly father who suffers from dementia who had a few issues whilst here with h8m. Staff managed it discreetly and compassionately. Absolutely would recommend this place, we have since returned. The food is first class, simply put an outstanding establishment.
Food was lovely but disappointed when a 10% charge was added as we were a party of 8 when the 8th person was only 9 months old! Didn’t realise this until we left with the receipt.
Went here for a tapas Sunday evening, the food was delicious, lots of veggie options and when my daughter spilt a whole glass of water, nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend and can’t wait to go back for a meal on my birthday
