This computer so far has been amazing. It more than doubles what my old computer was capable of and it if very reasonably priced, even with the current market for graphics cards. 10/10 would recommend!
Time for an upgrade and needed somewhere with Zen 3 processors and 3000 series gpu's in stock right now with no scalping. CLX fit that bill right away. I chose to go with a custom build from them. I really liked being able to pick absolutely everything in my computer. Delivery took a little while but I knew it would. Really like the build quality of the system. I have had a blast using it so far. Rendering Cold War at 230 fps avg on High settings at 1440. Exactly what a competitive call pf duty player needs.
Very satisfied with the condition and the build quality of the pc I received. I thought I was only getting a little bit of rgb based on the nomenclature of the part names but to my surprise every part lit up when turned on... even the ram. It is a little overdone but ngl I like the option and the pretty lights. I didnt add any extra fans either and there is plenty of positive pressure and the gpu is stable temperature even while mining a bit.
I started off with customizing and ordering my CLX Horus gaming pc with a lot of excitement as everything up to shipment was exciting and super easy. The time since ordering was a little longer than I would have liked, but completely understandable given the way things are in these times. When I finally got it delivered, I had a bad RTX 3070. Il be honest, I came to CLX as a fall back after having an aweful experience with another company. My main concern was shipping as I had had problems in the past with shipping PCs and the distance from CLX to me (far nothern canada) was pretty far. However, not only did CLX build the PC I ordered in a relatively timely manner considering the insane PC market right now and they even threw in a larger m.2 drive AND a larger HDD, I assume for the shipping delays but either way it was pretty awesome of them. No problems at all, great PC I love it. For my first PC its not bad.
So far I am in love with this computer. I had a very odd and slightly demanding order and the CLX team was able to deliver on it fairly quickly. I did run into a few issues with stock, but that is to be expected with RTX 3090s in the US right now. Overall my experience was very good and i am grateful for the time and effort put into this build. it is as simple as plug and play upon arrival! i would absolutely recommend purchasing from CLX.
