I have lived at the same apartment complex for 5 years and I have always liked living here until the company recently sold the property to CWS apartments. I live at the West Grand Lakes apartments in Richmond, Tx. The three women in the front office are extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate of their community. Over the summer they refused to fix the pool and we only were able to use the pool for one week. They refused to compensate anyone for it. We pay for that pool with out rent. The most money hungry company I have dealt with. We are located at marquis at cinco ranch near Houston. Because of hurricane Harvey, every home was flooded. Our garage and half of the apartment didn’t have any walls and they still charged us rent for October and November. They claimed it was habitable because all of the mold was removed. I guess they didn’t realize that my front door...wait! I didn’t have a front door! This company is a joke.

So extremely disappointed with my experience at The Marquis at Kingwood and especially with the unwillingness of help from management. I've asked multiple times to speak to someone above the management team because of the continuous issues I've had, but still haven't received a response to anyone I can speak to. I've lived here for a few years now and continued to want to renew my lease until now.

Terrible just terrible. CWS just bought Orion at the Cascades in Tyler, Tx and things have gone down hill since then. Work orders never get done. The common areas with the computers, pool table, shuffle board, and lounge area are now closed at 6pm rather than 9 like it used to be. Some residents don't get off work until after 6pm and would like to use those areas. Something needs to give. We pay for these amenities in our rent and now we can't even use them like we used to. This is unacceptable.

CWS JUST bought out what is now the Marquis at the Cascades - and boy what a difference already! The staff treats you like you actually own your apartment and they are just here to help. Response time is short, quality is excellent, the atmosphere is energetic and fully of well-deserved pride, and when you walk into the office area the staff acts as though they have been waiting all day just for you to arrive.
