Off the beaten track for sure, zero mobile signal as you come round the side of the dam and over the bridge so make sure if you can , download your maps or have a paper map to find this place , it’s easy to shoot past the entrance , but once there, my word, it’s a gem of a place, all the things you need, wood burner, clean rooms , good kitchen, stacks of parking , but we were all in Landrover’s , think you’d maybe struggle in anything with low clearance unsure coming up the steep track . I had a wonderful experience here. First of all, its far far away from the town but it's all worth it. There is no network within 5 miles of the bunkhouse, so reach there before its gets dark.Amazing view all the way here. We had booked for a group of 12 people and we got an entire building with 3 rooms that had a connecting door inside. They have a fire wood inside the building, they will provide you with enough logs, no electric heating. You need to carry your own pillow cases,bedsheets,duvet,food and toiletries.
