Good place it’s a place where the young people run the business better than the older people ! Jokes🤣
Stayed for a weekend and room was dirty. Carpet probably not vacuumed for days. Room smelt of drains and a skip was outside window. They even wanted to charge us for parking when we checked in. Every time we approached reception there was nobody there. Only saving grace was a buffet breakfast. Don’t recommend and won’t be staying again.
Bar/dining area are great and the location right at the side of the canal is fanatic. Rooms are a little bit tired if im being completely honest but theyre clean and comfy and at the price theyre brilliant value. Not sure what the £10 charge for the car park is all about and can't say I agree with that.
You wouldn't know it was next to a serene canal - we'd past it many many times before pulling in to grab a drink. Worth a look if your passing
