ALL HYPE, DOES NOT DELIVER – This restaurant has high aspirations, but it doesn't deliver... Underwhelmed on all fronts except for wine list which is well-chosen and fairly priced. 2 touted entrees: short ribs ( too salty) and lamb chops/tongue (over-cooked lamb chops) disappointed us. Waiter seemed confused/very new. Noise level high, even at the early hr due to closeness of tables, street noise, and hard surfaces. (I would be more forgiving of this, if the food were up to standard!) Like "the emperor had no clothes", we gu... read more

OMG! – I arrived at Crush with no reservation on Saturday night and was promptly seated at the bar with a sweet view of the kitchen and, of course, all of the action!! There was even a film crew set up in the kitchen filming (which I found out later was for a future episode of a Rachel Ray - food network show) and even the extra people, cameras and lights didn't disrupt the flow of food and drink!! I started out my meal with the foie gras and have never had better. That waffle is AWSOME!! Think breakfast - 2 perfectly poache... read more

Thank you CRUSH for being SUPERB! – I suggest that the few negative reviews I see here are the result of CRUSH having a bad night, or people who do not dine out often at "good" restaurants! I have been to CRUSH 4 times now and LOVE it - food is delicious and well presented, staff is formal yet friendly (they don't hover), atmosphere is chic and comfortable (though maybe loud for a date), and the wine list is just right. I am glad it is in my neighborhood! Each time the food and service have been consistent -- each time PERFE... read more

Excellent – Just returned from a trip to Seattle. Crush was excellent-the high point of all of the dining. Very good. They had glasses of Turley wine which is amazing (and it is amazing). The food was excellent, although I found the portions just a tad small, so I'd recommend getting a few sides which are not expensive. I'll be back. It is an excellent restaurant, very very good. Very creative food.

Do not go! – We were extremely excited to try out Crush, as it's been the place to go recently. We were sorely disappointed. The service was abominable - snooty, rude, and not at all helpful. We couldn't believe their terrible attitudes, they acted as though they were doing us a favor by serving us. The food was ok at best and certainly not worth the price. They have a long way to go to live up to the good ratings they received initially. Don't waste your time and money!

Top Notch – Tried Crush last week and was I delighted. The interior is understated and very appealing. The food - ohhhh, the food! I had a crabcake to start, followed by the to-die-for short ribs. Both were divine. My date had the foie gras and lamb chops. He loved his meal as well. Service is nothing short of knowledeable and very friendly. The wine selection is nicely balanced and servers suggest good pairings with the food you've ordered. Too full for dessert, but will try that next time. Do yourself a favor and call for ... read more

I've Got a CRUSH on YOU – PLEASE>>>>this is so real, unpretentious, and enjoyable. These people know how to create food, great list, and service that counts. Paying for this level costs three times as much and makes us stop in Belltown...with curtains...Thanks for the street parking in "no man's land" and a fun menu..........MUST TRY The chocolates, they make them at the restaurant. letzeat!!!

World Class Foie Gras! – With integrity, precision and a passionate sense for tenderness, Foie Gras has finally found the 'Mozart of Food'. What an exceptional delivery of Foie Gras! Presented tenderly-warm over warm brioche and a spot of huckleberry, each bite saturated my sensibilities until all I wanted was more Foie Gras and another glass of Tattinger! Thank you, Chef Jason Wilson & your team, for establishing (finally) what Foie Gras was meant to be - an exquisite delicacy. This dish reveals the precision and passion th... read more
