Booked table on Saturday for Sunday lunch always come here sat down ordered drinks and starter and 2 beef dinners came half way through starter to say no beef wish we knew this b4 we ordered starter got up and left to find a place that had beef dissaponted To say the least.

For the price, I thought it was perfect. I needed to be in Shotley Bridge at very short notice, I booked 2 nights on their website on the morning before driving up. I last stayed here about 20 years ago, and was hoping it had improved, what a lovely surprise. I was allocated room one and couldn't fault it. Simon behind the bar welcomed me, made sure I registered my car for the parking and showed me to my room.
