Cross County Mortgage = No loan for ESSENTIAL Workers This bank does not recognize shift change or time and a half hours for union workers. We have now been approved by three other lenders for the same home because this bank states that they will only recognize 40 regular hours regardless of the swing shift calculations that all other lenders we have worked with recognize. It was simply stated by the loan officer and underwriters that they will only recognize regular paid hours regardless of the industry worked in (police, f... read more

My sister and I were buying our first home in Nevada and received a letter in the mail for a pre-approval. This was the BIGGEST MISTAKE OF OUR LIVES! We had the extreme misfortune of "dealing" with Twyla **** and this was the worst lending experience! My sister and I have been lending officers in the past in another state and this person CLEARLY does not know the meaning of professionalism or dealing with customers. Apparently, there are only three people that work in her office, a very timid secretary that does not always s... read more

am a first-time homebuyer, and this experience has been extremely horrible. James ****, who was my lender, gave me a false closing cost estimate and on my closing disclosure. The team that handled my loan waited until the day before my closing date to start preparing my loan. My loan was sent to underwriting at 5pm the day before my closing date. Due COVID and my property being a new build I’ve experience several delays so there was no reason for CCM (CrossCountry Mortgage) to be so unprepared. I was told the day of my closi... read more

Awful experience. Once the process was started on my refi, everything moved very slowly- it seemed they only worked on the loan when I would email asking for an update. For over a month, I was told the loan was in underwriting and was almost finished. At over six weeks into the process, I again asked the status, and was told everything was wrapping up. Then, I was told there were snags and that the process couldn’t move forward. No sympathy, no apology for not being upfront weeks earlier. They are a large company and custome... read more

My husband and I were alerted through ******** of a hard inquiry pull on our credit reports. The inquiry was from Factual Data on behalf of Cross Country Mortgage. We had never heard of Cross Country Mortgage, so we investigated. Team Denton, specifically Lucinda and Hope of Cross Country Mortgage falsified a "call" inquiring about rates, opened a file in our names without our knowledge, and pulled our credit. These people actually worked for a different lending company in February when we sought preapproval for a mortgage l... read more

Jared *********Branch Manager of Cross Country Mortgage located at 1*** ******* ***** ****** *** *** *** ********** ** ***** was only focused on making his money and didn’t do my paperwork properly. I was refinancing to pull money out of equity, due to the pandemic, and he simply refinanced my home and failed to do the proper paperwork for me to pull that money out. The result was that I unnecessarily refinanced my house and paid an additional $7000 to do so and I wasn’t able to pull any of the money I intended to out. He th... read more

Worst Company around!!! When you are having financial issues due to the pandemic and their loss litigation drags you around to at the end never help. You submit documents they request and then they request them again due to losing the documents. I have been dealing with this for 7 months and they still have yet to resolve the modification. Choose a different company. I’m selling my house to get away from them.
