Very disappointed in Cross Country Mortgage and specially my loan officer, Brian *******In attempts to refinance, I provided full disclosure on a first time teacher's home buying program I participated in. I was reassured that I could refinance, paid for an appraisal, upgraded a membership status to reduce fees, and was encouraged not to pay my next two mortgage bills as Cross Country would wrap my next two payments into the refinance for "Covid Relief" (which I did not ask for). Lucky I did not take the advice of my loan of... read more
We were referred to Cross Countey Mortgage through our ****** ********** ******* so we thought they would be reliable and reputable. Our CC Mortgage lender's was Jim *******. Initially after shopping around to 3 different lenders, Jim gave us the lowest closing costs for our refinance loan. He was quick to order the appraisal for which we paid $475. After that pint, he stopped communicating with us and when we would reach out to him he would never call us back and only leave 1 word or 1 sentence email replies with absolutely... read more
Michael ********the mortgage broker working for CrossCountry Mortgage, has lied to us. Instead of doing the competent work, he assured us the we would get a loan and we proceeded with a contract to buy a house. We spent $650 on home inspection, $1000 on attorney, $350 on oil tank inspection and $600 on house appraisal only to learn that in the end the CrossCountry has rejected us. Before we learned about that, we also went ahead and cancelled our apartment lease and started packing. Since the loan origination was delayed by ... read more
I recently purchased a home. While I was very satisfied with my realtor, who is a friend of mine, the one mistake she made was referring me to Darik T***** of Cross Country mortgage. Darik is a habitual liar who will tell you anything he thinks you want to hear to get the deal done and make as much money as possible. If you decide to use Cross Country mortgage, do not take Dariks, or any of the CC mortgage teams word for anything, make sure you record every conversation. In the beginning, he was your typical, smooth talking ... read more
If this company spent as much time actually working on their actual job instead of paying a "Client Manager Liaison" to respond to the multiple complaints they have on this website and Better Business Bureau, they might've actually closed the sale of my condo on time instead of 8 DAYS AFTER THE CLOSE DATE. The reason we had to close 8 days late: they blamed us for "not getting them all of the necessary information". However we did get them the needed documents ONE MONTH PRIOR to original close date, they just did not review ... read more
Greenville, South Carolina. William ******has done a tremendous job with our VA Loan and has assisted us with a couple refinances! Even when Will move to this new company, we followed! Will has always be upfront and honest! If it didn't make sense and wasn't a good deal he would tell us! Such a HUGE investment for my family and I. We have not trusted another since our very 1st loan! Will always makes himself available and is quick to respond, even during off hours. He makes it easy and even takes time to explain to my wife &... read more
Be very very careful! We were looking to refinance. We got a call from this company. I first talked with an application screener, Fred, who talked in a slick, fast way. My initial impression was that Fred was young and unprofessional. He quickly directed me to Chad ******, who was not a licensed agent. His brother was the agent, but I never was able to talk with him. Chad forwarded me his brother's photo license information upon my asking. This is how I found out Chad was not licensed. After collecting our sensitive informat... read more
We used Larry *******at Cross Country Mortgage, LLC. in ******** **. We had used Larry in the past for first mortgages and re-financings. This experience was very different. Our initial intention was to pursue a cash out re-finance as we are finishing our basement. In order to proceed with a cash out refinance, the company insisted that we have an in person inspection of the house. We are in the middle of a pandemic and did not want a stranger in our house. Needless to say Cross Country would not waive the in-person inspecti... read more
Cross Country Mortgage is full of con artist & Liars! The Melville branch located * * ********** **** ******** ** *****. It was what they call a Bait & switch. Our closing cost were double the rate was different than what was stated. Kevin Clarkson was the LO who was trained to lie to his customers. I thought the 2008 Market CRASH got rid of the Frauds. Unfortunally the mortgage business is still filled with these FAKES! Lou ***** a manager of CCM is just as bad as he allows this type of behavior. Very Sad they dont see the ... read more
