In Maryland we had a tremendous experience with CrossCountry. It is upsetting to read the unfortunate experiences that others have had. We had daily communication with our loan officer and his team throughout the entire VA IRRL refinance process. I consider myself more knowledgeable of the loan process and therefore felt more comfortable asking questions for anything that may have looked out of place. Perhaps others have just unfortunately drawn a poor loan officer, but I have no reason to believe that any injustices under t... read more
I would not work with Cross Country Mortgage for a loan, especially if it is a jumbo loan. They were disorganized, made continual and increasingly complex document requests at the 11th hour, which ultimately delayed our closing, and frankly, it felt like they were submitting us to a tax audit to get a loan. Our closing was delayed because of their errors and omissions and I would work with someone else.
Nightmare place to deal with. Don’t do it! I started dealing with Jon ******when starting my VA refinance loan. Everything he promised was a lie except for my 2.75% rate. He said I would close on Aug 20th and that definitely was a pipe dream and he really had no clue when I was going to close up until two days before today on 25 September 2020. Before all of this with the closing date nightmares, was rushing me to e sign everything. Making me think the process would go faster. Not telling me about any of the inspections that... read more
Please DON'T get trapped with this company. The WORST company that I had the displeasure of working with. I would not wish this on anyone. The most unprofessional, disappointing experience . It felt like TORTURE is the best way to describe it. This company caused me so much pain and suffering in addition to spending additional money for their careless and sloppy work. They offered me $850.00 because they knew their work was a mess. This couldn't even cover half of the expenses they made us incur because of their inefficienci... read more
We will not recommend anyone to take a loan from Cross Country Mortgage. Will have provided sub-zero rating only if the system allowed it. We suffered quite a bit of loss which includes: * Financial Loss: Over $10,000 (loss of buyer agent’s credit, lender’s credit, higher MI, higher points) * Loss of Reputation in the Market: Due to delay caused by the lender, we had to plead to our seller/seller agent/buyer agent to extend the time * Loss of Fair Opportunity: Changing the details at last minute restricted us to proceed with... read more
Cross Country Mortgage LLC & BBB I see alot of reviews that are negative from different states But the NJ side of things is completely different. I would like to share my experience with Cross Country Mortgage. I had the pleasure to Meet Mohamed *******Carolina *****and the whole Team ****** group. First person i got to speak to was Mohamed. He explained everything i needed to do to get a loan. He held my hand on the entire time from start to finish. Mohamed made sure he helped on everything from pre-approval to approval and... read more
Its been more than 15 days since I've submitted my application and uploaded all the required documents onto their website to get a pre-approval and there was no acknowledgement in any form, be it email, call or a text. What is the point of using an online service if it takes more than 15 days to get any sort of acknowledgement while other lenders do it in less than a day. Good luck CrossCountry on your numbered days before a service oriented rival takes you out of business.
When I reached out to Chad *****, loan officer for CrossCountry Mortgage, he insisted he cannot answer any questions until I submit a loan application. They pulled my credit report and almost 2 weeks passed with no word regarding the application. When I reached out, Chad referred me to one of his associates, then after a couple exchange of emails, they have gone in the dark again. I would stay away from this company and Chad *****. Reliability is the one thing you need from the lenders and apparently CrossCountry won't provi... read more
Review for CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC, McKinney, TX I wish I could give her ZERO stars. Gail *******changed the interest rate on my 15-yr fixed refi from 2.875% to 3.875% and wanted to collect 1.5% origination fee on top of the 1% rate increase. Ouch, 1% increase for a 15-yr fixed mortgage is HUGE. Also, they made multiple mistakes in the disclosure and when I brought them to their attention, I was told it didn’t matter. When I questioned Gail about the rate increase. Gail replied, “Fannie Mae has been changing the Loan Pric... read more
