This small family run hotel is a breath of fresh air. It greets you like a warm hug from the moment you enter. The rooms are furnished with good taste and good quality. The bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide choice of options. We had dinner on two nights. On Sunday it was served in the main dining room and on Monday in the bar/pub. This was one of the highlight accommodations during our cycling trip of the Hebridean Way. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and the showers have great water pressure. Breakfast was phenomenal (with great vegan options, too). The owners are incredibly lovely people, and you can tell they have a background in customer service - they did a wonderful job renovating this place. Stopped off here on our last night of the hebredien way. Cannot recommend it enough! Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds with everything thought of. Lovely pub at the back and a delicious breakfast. Owners went above and beyond to help us out.
Able to rate the food of the Cross Inn and the great atmosphere of the Old Barn Bar (same premise). Simply outstanding meals considering one is at the very end of the UK and of Europe. Also the session IPA was brilliant. Wish you lots of happy guests like me!
Great wee quirky bar with a super atmosphere. Lovely staff and super welcome on arrival. Varied menu and excellent food. Cullen Skink and Haddock amazing. Wish it was my local! Dogs welcome with biscuits on bar and water. Can't fault a thing.
