We had a fantastic time here , we stayed 4 nights and they had live music on the Friday night in the form of Willie Campbell who was absolutely brilliant. The barmaid was really really lovely and nothing was too much for her , I am so sorry I forgot your name 🙈and the lady who owned the place was also a really lovely person and very knowledgeable. We will definitely return if we come back to Lewis.
The Cross Inn is a beautiful little inn where you can enjoy a good meal. The rooms are good, the service is even better and the crew is wonderful. So if you are looking for a place to stay in the North of Lewis, don't hesitate to book the Cross Inn
What a lovely place for a stay and to explore the isle of Lewis. The old barn was top, a cozy pub it is. All locations we have visited were breathtaking. We call it a 10!
This place is absolutely amazing, and it litterly holds up to the amount of stars given but they deserve much much more stars! Scotland,The hotel, the Scottish people and of course the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful . On a final note. I am very picky with my reviews so I will say this. The folks who gave this place a negative review or not 5 stars I am willing to bet the reason they didn't have a good time is most certainly something THEY did to their trip to make it bad, It's not about the hotel
A total gem. Warm welcome upon arrival, shown to my room which was lovely. Excellent decor and in such great condition. Surfaces were immaculately clean, and furnishings and bed comfortable. Breakfast was great but dinner the night before in the Old Barn was the highlight. Attentive friendly waiting and bar staff, didn’t have to wait long for a fantastic steak pie - portion size was excellent. Finished off with panna cotta for dessert and a wonderful nights sleep!
