Attended an anniversary party in the teepee. Such a beautiful venue with ample parking and amazing sea views.

We booked on the strength of glowing reviews...however, our experience was a bit different. The room (13) was spotless with lovely views over the estuary and spectacular if you catch the sunset. However, sleep is marred somewhat by the noise of the boiler firing every 4-5 minutes all night. For what reason? Breakfast was a strange affair. The porridge could have been sliced with a knife it was that dense! I ordered the kipper (only half a fillet) which came with a toasted bagel. Stayed 1 night here and it was great. Amazing views, great bar and garden area, delicious breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff, they even had some board games which provided lots of laughter. Thoroughly recommend to anyone needing a relaxing, cosy, romantic, quiet place to stay near Whitstable and Canterbury. The restaurant menu looks amazing and is available to guests and walk ins. Definitely worth a visit just for the views. :) We will be back again!
Vsited just for breakfast, on a Monday morning, the food was delicious we had a full English one veggie gf option which also delicious. The views are amazing over looking the sea from the field tops. Staff are lovely and friendly. Sofia and Fran served use with pure delight.
